When most young people hear the word "invest" they immediately think of middle-aged men who work in the city.

In fact the word "invest" actually means "to devote time or energy with the expectation of a worthwhile result" (Oxford English Dictionary).

YOUNG-INVESTOR.CO.UK works on the understanding that everything we do (starting a business, giving the right impression, learning, entertainment, going to work, saving, meeting other people) is an investment. Why? Look it up in the Oxford English Dictionary yourself!

YOUNG-INVESTOR.CO.UK aims to point you in the right direction. We are dedicated to ensuring our readers are inspired to make a success of themselves. How?
1. Interesting, inspirational interviews with already successful young people offering their hints and tips.

2. Regular columns from experienced, knowledgeable writers giving helpful advice on useful topics such as getting a promotion, health and setting up a business.

3. Features devoted to explaining subject areas which, up until now, have been too distant and boring for young people to understand (i.e. money, politics).

4. Open, pragmatic journalism which genuinely engages the readers and encourages them to get involved with the magazine any way they can (mainly via our online forum and a feature called Out and About).
